Stronger Collaboration Between Slovenia and Ireland Ahead, Drnovsek and Ahern Agree
Brdo pri Kranju, 24 July - Opportunities for co-operation between Slovenia and Ireland will increase upon EU enlargement in May 2004, agreed Irish PM Bertie Ahern and Slovenian President Janez Drnovsek on Thursday. While Ahern stressed the importance of collaboration between smaller countries within the EU and exchange of information among them, Drnovsek found Ireland's experience valuable for Slovenia, the president's office said.
