Jelincic and Bandelj Did not Incite Hatred, Says Prosecution
Ljubljana, 25 July - Ljubljana's district state prosecutor Nikolaja Hozic rejected a criminal complaint filed by an association of the "erased" citizens - inhabitants from former Yugoslav republics who were erased from Slovenia's permanent residency registry in 1992 - against opposition National Party (SNS) MP Zmago Jelincic and Secretary General of the government Mirko Bandelj. The association accused the two of inciting ethnic hatred and intolerance with statements they made during a television debate.
