STA Coverage on Sunday, 27 July

VRSIC - A traditional commemoration of Russian POWs of WWI, who in 1916 died building a road across mountain pass Vrsic, will be held near the Russian Chapel under Vrsic at 10 AM. The event will be attended by President Janez Drnovsek, FM Dimitrij Rupel and Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor. Russia will be represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, a delegation of the Federation Council, a delegation of the Russian Duma and a delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church. Afterwards, Drnovsek will meet Kudrin in Kranjska Gora.
