Ljubljana, 27 July - The Slovenian government kicked off the week by adopting guidelines for state budget bills for the next four years. In line with slower economic growth, the government was forced to raise its budget deficit forecast for 2004 to almost 1.5 percent of GDP. Meanwhile, Belgian brewer Interbrew held good on its promise to appeal a Competition Protection Office ruling allowing brewer Pivovarna Lasko to acquire a majority stake in rival Slovenian brewer Pivovarna Union.
