Vrsic Ceremony Also a Sign of Strong Russian-Slovenian Ties, Pahor Says

Kranjska Gora, 27 July - This ceremony is no longer just an act of rememberance, having grown into an event of peace and friendship while also being a sign of the good ties between the Russian and Slovenian nations, Slovenian Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor said on Sunday addressing a traditional remembrance ceremony for hundreds of Russian WWI POWs who died under an avalanche while building a road.
