Slovenians Want Shops Closed on Sundays, Shows Poll
Ljubljana, 28 July - Most voters, namely 75.2 percent are planning to vote for restriction of Sunday opening hours of shops in September's referendum. According to Dnevnik's public opinion poll, the reason is cultural; as it turns out, over 56 percent of those polled believe that Sundays should be reserved for the family, and therefore oppose shops being open on that day.
