Union Finds Latest Ruling in Brewer Dispute Satisfactory

Ljubljana, 30 July - The Administrative Court's ruling is satisfactory, as it has established that there is a conflict between the anti-trust office and Belgium's Interbrew, the Ljubljana-based brewer said on Wednesday in a response to the ruling rejecting Interbrew's request to prevent its rival Pivovarna Lasko from exercising all of its voting rights at Thursday's AGM of Pivovarna Union. The anti-trust office's decision to allow a merger between both Slovenian brewers has been namely considered perfect so far, the Union chairman Marijan V. Mir said in a statement for STA.
