Union Threatens to Quit Social Agreement over Public Sector Wage Deal
Ljubljana, 30 July - An alliance of trade unions has expressed its opposition to the annex to the collective agreement for the non-corporate sector signed by the government and public sector unions at the start of this week. The Confederation of New Unions of Slovenia (KNSS) has even threatened to quit the social agreement because of the deal which replaces a 2.4-percent pay raise in August with additional pension insurance.
