Brewers' Battle Expected to Continue at General Assembly

Ljubljana, 31 July - The subject of a takeover battle between rival Slovenian brewer Pivovarna Lasko and Belgian Interbrew, Pivovarna Union is to hold a general assembly on Thursday. With Union-affiliated Interbrew holding a little over 42 percent of the voting rights and Lasko holding some 47 percent, the assembly is likely to see some tight voting.
