Gov't Adopts Changes to the Takeover Act

Ljubljana, 31 July - The government on Thursday adopted changes to the takeover act, which are to eliminate some imperfections and confusion which have been showing in practice since the act was passed in 1997, as Economics Minister Tea Petrin pointed out. The changes to the act bring transparency in the implementation of procedures of the takeover of public as well as non-public joint-stock companies and protection for small shareholders.
