Minister Potocnik Would Consider Taking Job of European Commissioner
Ljubljana, 1 August - A post of European commissioner is one of the options for my future that I am considering, Slovenian Europe Minister Janez Potocnik told STA in an interview. Nine months prior to Slovenia's accession to the EU on 1 May 2004, the minister is dealing with preparations for efficient work of the government service for European affairs in the Union. The preparations for negotiations on Slovenia's stance toward the EU budget after 2006 are also underway.
