Ljubljana, 2 August - When the previous government of Janez Drnovsek brought to parliament legislative changes and the MPs adopted an act to abolish conscription service by the end of 2004, experts warned that the deadline for transition to professional armed forces is very short, if not too short, writes Saturday's Delo.
