Zbogar Is Laser European Champion

Slovenian sailor Vasilij Zbogar won gold medal Saturday at the 2003 Laser European Championships in Croatia's Split after managing to keep the advantage over his competitors from Friday's race. Zbogar thus secured the first gold medal ever for Slovenia in this competition.
