Mercator CEO Says Closing Stores on Sundays is Victory for No One

Ljubljana, 4 August - The main argument of those that want to keep stores closed Sundays - that Sundays are meant for family activities - is merely a game, CEO of Slovenia's largest retailer Mercator told the weekly Mladina. "Trade union leaders say they will win. But there will be no victory here; is we close stores on Sunday, it will only be a defeat," he said in an interview for Monday's edition of the magazine.
