Press Skeptical About Proposed Changes to Takeovers Act

Ljubljana/Maribor, 5 August - Slovenia's leading dailies, Delo and Vecer, welcome in their Tuesday's editions the proposed changes to the act on takeovers. However, they are cautious about the heavily publicised new provisions introducing extra protection of small shareholders, commenting that the existing legislation already provides for their protection, only that supervision bodies are powerless.
