Trieste Opposition Wants Inclusion of City in Minority Protection Act
Trieste, 5 August - The left-wing opposition in the Trieste city council has demanded that the City of Trieste be included in the area covered by the act on the protection of the Slovenian minority in Italy. According to the minority newspaper Primorski dnevnik and Radio Trieste A, all 16 left-wing councilors have backed the proposal.
