Croatia Attempts to Soothe Slovenia's Fears About Exclusive Economic Zone
Zagreb, 6 August - Croatia on Wednesday replied to a diplomatic note about the planned establishment of an exclusive economic zone in the Adriatic Sea, which Slovenia sent on Monday. Addressing Slovenia's concerns that such a move might be in violation of EU and UN regulations or the agreed bilateral policy on maritime affairs, Croatia said that a government working group in charge of monitoring the EU's fisheries policy is drafting guidelines on ways to resolve the issue.
