Shelving of Steelworks Privatisation Examined by Dailies

Ljubljana/Maribor, 7 August - Dailies Delo and Vecer examine the shelving of the privatisation programme for core companies in the Slovenian Steelworks group that was announced on Wednesday by the Economics Ministry. Both papers underscore on Thursday that the state must remain aware of the fact that EU regulations ban state subsidies to the steel industry.
