Banka Koper Increased Half-Year Profits by 11 Percent
Koper, 8 August - Banka Koper, Slovenia's fifth largest bank, posted half-year net profits of SIT 3.4bn (EUR 14.5m), up 11 percent year-on-year. The bank's total assets increased by SIT 6.6bn (EUR 28.1m) in the same period, to amount to SIT 288.7m (EUR 1.23bn), the bank reported on Friday, adding that results were boosted mainly by high interest income and lower than expected costs.
