Low Stock Turnover in July

Ljubljana, 11 August - The July turnover at the Ljubljana bourse amounted to SIT 22.6bn (EUR 96.3m), down 4.8% from June and 43.7% less than in July 2002. 27,380 deals were struck in 23 trading days, with the average daily turnover at SIT 983m (EUR 4.1m). 59.2% of the monthly turnover was generated by block trading, according to the monthly statistics of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
