Union Joins Owners in Filing Complaint to CPO Decision

Ljubljana, 13 August - Brewer Pivovarna Union joined its largest owners and rivals for the takeover of the company, Belgium's Interbrew and Slovenia's Pivovarna Lasko, in filing a complaint at the administrative court, appealing a decision of the Competition Protection Office (CPO) regarding a decision on the takeover of Union, Radio Slovenija reported on Wednesday. The CPO decided that Lasko can acquire its chief rival on the Slovenian beer market, but under certain conditions.
