Stock Market Awakening, but Still Reserved
Ljubljana, 16 August - Investors at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) are slowly awakening from the summer lull and trading became livelier this week, which was cut short due to Friday's holiday. All major stocks gained a notch, but those traded on the free market largely posted losses. Deals struck this week amounted to SIT 3.7bn (EUR 15.8m), with the benchmark SBI 20 gaining 20.48 points on the week to close at 3,214.5.
