Croatia Responds to Slovenia's Diplomatic Note Regarding EEZ

Ljubljana/Zagreb, 19 August - The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday received an answer of the Croatian Foreign Ministry to the Slovenian diplomatic note of 11 August with regard to Croatia's bid to establish an exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the Adriatic. The ministry said it would examine the Croatian note and respond to it, but added that despite Slovenia's repeated requests for an explanation, "Croatia has never officially consulted Slovenia or informed it on Croatia's official views on the planned establishment of the EEZ".
