Management of Troubled Semic-Based Company Comes up with New Proposals for Workers

Semič/Ljubljana, 20 August - The employees of the Semic-based manufacturer of components for radio-interference suppression and power capacitors are to get 60 percent of July wages paid out at the end of August, and the remaining sum in early September, the management of AEG KuW Iskra Kondenzatorji stated in its latest press release on Wednesday. At the end of the year, the workers will also get this year's holiday allowance and the interest on back wages. The agreement is based on discussions between the management board chairman Hans-Dieter Honselmann, management board member Peter Zdravje and representatives of two relevant trade unions, Drago Gajzer and Edvard Krzisnik.
