PM Pleased with GDP Growth, Says Economy Adjusted Well

Ljubljana, 23 August - Despite the poor global economy, Slovenia has managed to adjust, Slovenian Prime Minister Anton Rop believes. The economy has managed to make up for lacklustre exports to the EU by boosting trade with SE Europe, Poland and Russia. At the same time, is has also become clear that the decision to pursue a more expansive investment policy has been right, Rop told Saturday's Vecer, explaining that increasing investment demand has managed to largely offset possible GDP growth shortfalls.
