Ex Croatian FM Says Slovenia Should Be Forced into Arbitration Prior to EU Entry

Zagreb, 25 August - All those countries that are entering the EU and are in any dispute over their borders have to report that to the Hague Court of Justice in agreement with the Helsinki Final Act. Slovenia has not done this and Croatia has not forced it to binding international arbitration. Croatia must do this by means of a diplomatic action so that it will bring up the case before Slovenia's entry into the EU, the former Croatian foreign minister Mate Granic stated in an interview for the Monday edition of the Croatian daily Vjesnik.
