Vzajemna Concerned about Proposed Health Reform

Ljubljana, 27 August - With 1,226,000 insurants and a market share of 80 percent, the mutual health insurance company Vzajemna generated operating profits of SIT 1.78bn (EUR 7.6m). The Vzajemna assembly decided on Wednesday to use part of the funds (SIT 705m/EUR 3m) to increase provisions, assuring better long-term health security of its members, the company told the press on Wednesday.
