Brewer Union Sees Profits Soar

Ljubljana, 29 August - Pivovarna Union, the second largest brewery in Slovenia, generated sales revenues of SIT 8.2bn (EUR 34.9m) in the first six months of the year, up 4.9 percent over the year before. Profits increased almost six-fold over last year, totalling SIT 613.7m (EUR 2.6m), according to Union's unaudited half-yearly financial statement.
