Ljubljana, 31 August - According to some claims, Slovenia came close to an electricity blackout, as the nuclear power plant Krsko automatically shut down on Wednesday morning due to irregularities in the functioning of the isolation valve at the main steam pipes. After over a year, Slovenia in August again recorded negative inflation, as the consumer prices dropped by 0.4 percent. Meanwhile, the 41st International Agriculture and Food Fair discussed the future of the Slovenian agriculture upon the EU accession and the drought troubling the farmers.
