2002 FDI in Slovenia Totaled US$ 1.9bn, Says UNCTAD Report

Ljubljana, 4 September - Although the volume of foreign direct investment (FDI) worldwide was down 41 percent last year to US$ 651bn, Slovenia posted the all-time highest amount of FDI, US$ 1.9bn, according to data listed in the 2003 World Investment Report, which has been compiled by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
