The Draft Abolished in Slovenia after 12 Years

Ljubljana, 9 September - The announcement that the draft at a time of peace has ended in Slovenia means that the country has abolished obligatory military service 12 years after it was introduced. The country is therefore switching to professional soldiers, who will be supplemented with voluntary reserve forces.
