Referendum on Shops' Opening Hours to be Held Next Sunday
Ljubljana, 10 September - On Sunday, 21 September, Slovenian voters will head for the polls to decide whether shops should be open only up to 10 Sundays per year in a referendum. The decision to hold a referendum was passed after 47,000 signatures in support of a referendum were submitted to parliament by the shop workers' trade union in mid-July.
