Former Yugoslav Land Borders Were Borders of Republics
Ljubljana, 11 September - Land borders in the former Yugoslavia were borders of republics, and they gained the status of borders protected under international law after the collapse of the former federation, something that was also established by the Badinter committee. This is what the Slovenian Foreign Ministry said in response to a recent statement according to which Croatia once had a border crossing with Austria.
