Hot Summer Caused Increased Ozone Levels

Ljubljana, 12 September - Between June and the end of August, the Slovenian Agency for the Environment issued 19 warnings due to excessive concentrations of ozone. Half of those were issued in Nova Gorica, western Slovenia, which indicates that "certain amounts of polluted air are coming in from Italy", the agency's director Andreja Cecek Hocevar told the press on Friday.
