Peric Trial Continues; Defendant's Attorney Believes Mafia Involved

Ljubljana, 12 September - Following a two-month break, the trial against a defendant accused of a triple murder of his family resumed on Friday with a hearing of witness Ales Klun. Klun claimed that the accused Ivan Peric said before the murders that he needed a gun to "liquidate" his family. Peric called Klun's statements "nothing but lies", while his lawyer Peter Ceferin proposed including in the court files an article linking Rakic family's deaths with mafia.
