Four Acceding Countries and Austria Join Forces on EU Finance Issues
Milan, 13 September - Finance Ministers of Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Slovenia met on the sidelines of an informal EU meeting, taking place in the Italian town of Stresa, drafting a joint statement on the next EU financial plan for 2007-2013. The statement reflects the views expressed at a recent meeting of finance ministers from eight acceding countries that took place at the Slovenian lakeside resort of Bled.
