Top of Triglav Might Become Subject of Denationalisation Claim

Ljubljana, 17 September - The Aljaz Tower, a small metal tower atop Slovenia's highest peak, was the subject of Tuesday's meeting between Slovenian Metropolitan and Ljubljana Archbishop Franc Rode and head of the Slovenian Mountaineering Association (PZS) Franc Ekar, the Slovenian Bishops' Conference reported. The PZS would like to become the custodian of the state-owned tower on Mount Triglav, which is one of the country's most popular landmarks.
