Majority Backs Closing of Shops on Sundays, Survey Shows
Ljubljana, 19 September - Around 66 percent of Slovenians are planning to attend the Sunday referendum on the opening hours of shops, which is six percent more than a week ago. Among the ones to surely go to the polls, 60.1 percent will back the shops to be closed on Sundays, 30.1 percent will vote against, while nine percent of the voters remain undecided, shows a survey in the Friday edition of the Ljubljana-based daily Delo.
