LJUBLJANA - The government is to convene at noon for a budget session before sending to parliament the 2004 supplementary amendment bill and the 2005 budget bill.
BRUSSELS - Slovenia and the EU will meet for the last time before the publication of the final progress report on EU candidates before May 2004.
NEW YORK - President Janez Drnovsek and FM Dimitrij Rupel will attend the 58th UN General Assembly, which is to last until 3 October. Rupel arrived in the U.S. on Wednesday, while the president is to land in New York on Wednesday evening.
KOPER - An international conference "Slovenia after 2004 - Bridge between EU and SE Europe" will start at 9 AM on the Slovenian coast. Among the speakers will be Europe Minister Janez Potocnik.
LJUBLJANA - The main board of the Slovenian People's Party (SLS) will decide on the party council's proposal to hold an early election congress to elect new party leadership.
LJUBLJANA - Retailer Mercator is to give a press conference at 1 PM to talk about the takeover of retailer Zivila.
LJUBLJANA - National telephone operator Telekom Slovenije is giving a press conference at 11 AM to present semi-annual results.
