Eco Points May Harm Slovenia's Economy, Says Transport Minister
Brussels, 29 September - Slovenia's economy heavily depends on Western European economy, which is linked to transit through Austria, where environment protection policy requires eco points. Maintaining this system might limit further development of Slovenia's economy, which is why Slovenia expects more economic rather than administrative measures from the EU, said Transport Minister Jakob Presecnik at Monday's meeting in Brussels.
