Alpina Reconsiders Closure of Plants after Talks with Gov't

Ljubljana, 1 October - Alpina will not close two of its plants in Slovenia as initially planned but will continue the production and preserve the 227 jobs on the line, the management of this leading Slovenian shoe producer decided after spending a week looking for a way to keep the two plants in operation together with the Labour and Social Affairs Ministry.
