Austria Suggests Simpler Border Regime with Slovenia

Brussels, 2 October - Austria suggested on Thursday that as Slovenia joins the EU on 1 May 2004 road border control between the two countries be unified, Slovenian Interior Minister Rado Bohinc told the press in Brussels after meeting his Austrian counterpart Ernst Strasser. A similar initiative was given by Italy last month.
