European Commission Regrets Croatia's Decision on Fisheries Zone
Rome, 4 October - The European Commission regrets Croatia's decision to declare an ecological and fisheries zone in the Adriatic, as it believes it would be better if Zagreb did not opt for a unilateral action but consult with neighbouring countries, including Slovenia. This is how Emma Udwin, the spokesperson of the Commissioner for External Relations Chris Patten, commented on Friday's vote of the Croatian parliament for STA.
