Ljubljana, 4 October - The top news last week came late on Friday, when the Croatian parliament decided to extend the jurisdiction in the Adriatic, declaring an ecological and fisheries protection zone. Also among the highlights last week was a two-day visit by PM Anton Rop to Russia, where he among other issues discussed the Russian clearing debt with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Kasyanov. The Slovenian officials were gearing up for the beginning of the EU's IGC on the EU reform on 4 October, and the Slovenian minority in Austria's Carinthia reached an agreement with the ORF broadcaster on a round-the-clock radio programme in Slovenian.
