Slovenia Remembers WWII Overseas Brigades
Koper, 5 October - Soldiers of overseas brigades were precursors of new times, the pioneer builders of new Europe, Defence Minister Anton Grizold said at the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of WWII overseas brigades - formed by prisoners and Slovenians in the Italian army after Italy's capitulation - in Koper on Sunday. The event was attended by about 2,000 veterans and their families.
