Croatia Has Violated International Law, Says Legal Expert

Maribor, 6 October - Croatia's declaration of a protective fisheries and ecological zone is in violation of international law, Slovenian law expert Miha Pogacnik told the daily Vecer. Croatia failed to respect the rule that, when there are unresolved issues (Slovenia and Croatia are yet to determine the maritime border), it is necessary to refrain from actions that would further aggravate the solution of open issues, he pointed out.
