EU to Adopt Declaration on Croatia, Say FMs of Slovenia and Italy
Rome, 6 October - Croatia's decision to declare a protective fisheries and ecological zone in the Adriatic Sea topped the agenda in talks between Slovenia's and Italy's Foreign Ministers Dimitrij Rupel and Franco Frattini, meeting in Rome on Monday morning. The EU will adopt a special declaration on the issue - on which Slovenia and Italy share very similar stances, Rupel said after the meeting.
