Jansa: Maritime Code Should Set Down a Right to Claim an EEZ

Ljubljana, 7 October - By advancing a proposal that Slovenia should amend the maritime code, the opposition Social Democracy (SDS) did not suggest that Slovenia should act the same as Croatia did by declaring a protective fisheries and ecological zone in the Adriatic. The SDS merely insisted that a right to claim an exclusive economic zone should be set down in the maritime code, SDS president Janez Jansa has commented on their yesterday's proposal.
