Conference Highlights Importance of Education in Future EU

Ljubljana, 8 October - In order to meet its goal of becoming the world's economically most successful region, the EU must keep prioritising knowledge for the sake of knowledge as such, said Education Minister Slavko Gaber, introducing a conference on common European goals in education and training, which was held in Ljubljana on Wednesday. The importance of education was as well highlighted by EU Ambassador to Slovenia Erwan Fouere.
