Ljubljana, 8 October - The STA English service will cover the following events on Thursday, 9 October:
STRASBOURG - The European Court of Human Rights is to begin a procedure to decide whether it has jurisdiction in the case of three Croatian citizens against Slovenia over overdue bank deposits.
LUXEMBOURG - Slovenian Transport Minister Jakob Presecnik is to attend a meeting of transport, telecommunications and energy ministers from the EU and acceding countries.
LJUBLJANA - The International Organisation for Migration and the British Embassy in Ljubljana are to organise a seminar on the prevention of human trafficking (9 PM). On this occasion, a publication about human trafficking in Slovenia is to be presented by the Peace Institute (10 AM).
PORTOROZ - A three-day gathering of Slovenian lawyers, The Days of Slovenian Lawyers, is to begin. At 5 PM, a panel on Slovenian lawyers and the challenges of EU law is to take place.
LJUBLJANA - A strategy of government co-operation with NGOs, adopted by the government last week, is to be presented.
PORTOROZ - An annual meeting entitled "Civil Movements and Civil Society Today" is to begin, through Saturday.
LJUBLJANA - The government is to convene for a weekly session.
